If you have a parent or family member who shows a consistent pattern of forgetful behaviour, or who struggles to live an independent life, YouTrack Halo will make your life easier and less stressful. None of us like it when we feel we are being tied to one place or feel we don’t have the freedom to do as we please and the elderly are no different. In some cases, the elderly are increasingly given less consideration. Many have active lifestyles, whilst some need more care and attention than others. YouTrack Halo provides more independence for our elderly to be mobile and safe when moving outside their home or residence.  It enables family, friends and care workers the ability to track them in real time and pinpoint their location accurately. You can even see the route taken with “Map Replay”.  If you are concerned about the possibility of a loved one wandering, whether they are out walking, riding a mobility scooter or on a day out in a vehicle, YouTrack Halo is designed to provide that peace of mind. Their safety and well being while out and about is paramount or maybe you just want to make certain that they have arrived back at home safe and sound.
In 2012 800,000 people* (*Alzheimer’s Society Statistics) were thought to have Dementia with the UK (for more statistics and information download this pdf from Alzheimers Society).
 Track/SOS/Talk/Alert

YouTrack Halo automatically transmits its position every 2 minutes over the mobile phone network, enabling you to track their location when they’re on the move from any internet enabled PC, tablet or smart phone. The device is also equipped with an SOS Button in case of distress or some form of emergency. They simply press the SOS Button and up to 3 pre-determined numbers will immediately receive an SOS alert via text message and/or email together with their positional location when pressed. You can also establish two way communications to either reassure or determine what action is needed.  The unit is small enough to carry in your pocket, a purse or on a belt.

Medical Conditions
Falls, fall-related injury and fear of falling are important public health problems in an ageing society. Falls and mobility problems are the most common causes of referrals to intermediate care services. Dementia is most common in older people but younger people (under 65) can also get it too. In 2012 800,000 people* (*Alzheimer’s Society Statistics) were thought to have Dementia with the UK (for more statistics and information download this pdf from Alzheimers Society). Most Dementia and Alzheimer’s sufferers that wander are found within a mile and a half of their home. These wanderers are often on foot….someone suffering from Alzheimer’s or Dementia can wander off and become invisible. YouTrack Halo provides an extraordinary degree of protection to the ones we care for knowing exactly where they are and prevent any unnecessary worry or upset.
